Congrats, Scott!

Scott’s piece was recently published by Mediastorm. Chad, Brian and the other rockstars all did an amazing job. Wes Pope added really touching and humorous pieces of video - especially the Cagwins driving on Cagwin drive.

It is so wonderful to see work like Scott’s getting attention. It’s nuanced and does not judge. So often we see this specific theme covered in a good guy - bad guy way. The farm is the good guy - the development is the bad guy. Scott doesn’t condescend to his viewers and respects the subjects in the utmost.

Six Words

“For Sale: Baby Shoes. Never worn.” - Hemingway called this his best work. It might not be his life story, but it got me thinking.

If you were to write your story in six words, what would it be?

I am working on mine.

Casey and I had such good intentions. The story was going to be about transitions. Coming of age. Universal truths.

But, in the end, all we did is go to a high school graduation.

I survived my first dance in years with sports photography. My poor coworkers, it was probably like bringing a job shadow to an assignment. I kept having to ask superstar sports photographer, Mr. Thomas Boyd, where i could go or what i should do. The quality of his work was amazing. It was humbling to shoot on the same team.

Here I offer a selection of some photographs from the experience.
