Finished in Eugene

8 July, 2008 (07:01) | work

I survived my first dance in years with sports photography. My poor coworkers, it was probably like bringing a job shadow to an assignment. I kept having to ask superstar sports photographer, Mr. Thomas Boyd, where i could go or what i should do. The quality of his work was amazing. It was humbling to shoot on the same team.

Here I offer a selection of some photographs from the experience.

Man, my favorite images from this Trials are from you. Seriously.

I wish you shot sports more often so that I could learn more from your vision.

You’re work is so inspiring. Thank you.

Rob, you don’t know me, but your work here is awesome. Great seeing and vision! I second Sol’s comments.

All the best from a fellow photographer here in Portland. Keep up the great work.

Thanks everyone, what a bunch of really nice comments. I appreciate it. And, John…while we’re at it, should we swing by North Carolina?

Thanks for the plug!
Like Sol, your images are my favorite from the Trials. You bring something very fresh and new to the same ol’ coverage. The javelin kiss photo is really nice. Just when I thought I’d seen every track and field photo ever shot, you show me something new.
