Bruce Ely and the root vegetable in question - updated

I have been deep in politics coverage over the last few days, and hope to begin posting some photographs tomorrow. For now, i offer a photo from last night’s post elections meal at Higgins. We decided this was a radish (Raphanus sativus).

*an update…days later i made this picture. i detect an often attempted - seldom photographed radish on fork series.

Do you think there are further varieties of radish you could find? more strapping young men to blur? I anticipate this great series.
