For the most part, the Wilson River RV park was destroyed by the storm. Police evacuated people from the park before the waters got too high. No people were killed, but many homes were swept away by the rushing water despite efforts to save them all. This first picture is from late monday afternoon. It’s pretty dull. I couldn’t t get any closer to the scene so i created a photographic document - “this happened.”

The next day I was able to wander down into the park and make a picture of the same vehicle as above. Although I prefer the second photograph, the level of urgency is removed - rendering it nearly unpublishable save some review of what happened.
